November = A Busy Month

Hello all! I am so excited to be kicking off this month as it is guaranteed to be one of my busiest months of 2019. I have so much going on but I couldn’t be happier at this point in my life and I really wanted to share it with you.

It’s NaNoWriMo Baby!

I love NaNoWriMo and everything it represents. Even though it is pretty stressful as I push myself to reach that 50k word goal, it’s so much fun knowing that I’m not alone in my pursuit. All over the globe, there are thousands of writers creating so many different worlds and characters. It’s just a really great vibe that I like to use as motivation to write and I love it.

Blog Tours

I did recently sign up for Harlequin’s Romance & Women’s Fiction blog tour. I told myself that I wasn’t going to sign up for anymore ebooks to review as I really wanted to just chill the rest of the year (I even decreased my Goodreads Reading Challenge from 100 to 75 books). However, after reading through the synopsis’ that were sent to me, I signed up for all of them. Most of these reviews are going up in November. I also was invited to Harlequin Trade Publishing: YA/Inkyard Press blog tours and I think there is one of those due this month as well.

Wrapping Up Soccer! YES!!!!!

This past month has been a flurry of activity in our household and with my stepdaughter’s added soccer practices and early Saturday games, it’s just been rough. Thankfully, today is her last soccer game of the season and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not saying I didn’t like watching her play, because I did. She had fun, and as a parent, it’s always a thrill seeing her challenge herself and be active instead of sitting in front of the TV for hours on end. But November is bringing in some really crappy weather so I’m glad to be putting the hours standing outside behind me.

‘Tis The Season To Wear Orange

Anyone who’s followed me, even from my first blog site, knows that my family is very outdoorsy. Which yes, means we hunt and fish. This is actually the first year that I won’t be actively hunting just because of school and work. However, my husband has a bunch of trips planned that I just need to remember so I can schedule around it. It will also be kind of nice to have some quiet time around the house to just write.

A New Class

The beginning of this week marked a new term for my online classes that I take. If you don’t know, I’m currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University and am going for my Bachelor’s in Communications. It has been a journey so far and I always get excited when I start a new class. So this month I’ll be learning more about the Humanities and I’m pretty excited about that.

It’s Time………To Make A Baby

This is the first time that I am putting this out there, and I am so nervous and yet excited to be able to express this. As many of you know, I’ve struggled with endometriosis for years and it has been one heck of a rough rollercoaster with that. A year has passed since my surgery, and I’ve been living my life like I could never do before. And I’m ready. My husband and I are both ready. I’m beaming from ear to ear as I type all this, because I have never been happier. Getting to this point in my life has taken almost a decade so I’m ready to take this step.

I will be doing a more in depth post, but to keep myself from crying happy tears, I’m going to leave it at this. Thank you so much for reading! I appreciate and love you all, and until next time……….
