Workouts of the Week: 75 Hard Days 40-46

Hello all! I am going hard this week in my workouts as I noticed a change in my body last week. My afternoon walks are the highlight of my day. It’s just me and the road and my music. I live for that time to get away from everything and destress. It’s also where I can feel my body pushing to keep up the pace and my lungs are usually gasping for air. On one of these walks this past week, I noticed that my body wasn’t aching. I was easily keeping up conversation with my husband on the particular walk that I noticed this change. It doesn’t mean I wasn’t pushing myself. However, I now know that I need to increase my pace from a speed walk to a light jog now because my body can handle it.

Bonus Workouts

Not only am I going to start jogging for my afternoon “walks”, but I also plan on incorporating bonus workouts. This could include anything from basketball, yoga, or another bonus workout from the 9 Week Control Freak program.

I do want to point out that none of this excessive working out is for physical appearances. I genuinely love working out. It forces me to listen in to my body and how it’s feeling and what it needs. Right now, at this point, it’s asking that I go even harder.

What’s Next?

I have officially decided once I am finished with the 9 Week Control Freak Program I will be starting 80 Day Obsession. I’ve tried this program in the past, but I was never strong enough or I didn’t have the cardio training to keep up with the cast members. Now that I’m able to lift heavy, I’m excited to give this a try again. Also, not going to lie, I am really looking forward to the challenge of the diet and how that works for the program.
